Will you be listing my house on the MLS or buying it?
We're not agents, and we don't list properties. We're professional home buyers, which means we buy homes quickly and pay in cash. After purchasing, we might renovate the house and sell it to a new homeowner, or we might keep it as a rental property.
How are you different from a real estate agent?
Real estate agents list properties in the hope of finding buyers. If there are interested parties, the agent will show them the properties. The average time to sell a property in many markets is 6 to 12 months. If a sale goes through, the agent earns a commission, typically 3 to 6% of the sale price. For a $100,000 house, that means you'll pay between $3,000 and $6,000 in commissions.
